| subject: | LapLink in VDM problem |
Greetings Rob,
I'll combine replies. Your other note suggested that perhaps I
have an IRQ conflict because of using comm ports on the same IRQ. That
is not the case with my setup, mouse is COMM1, LapLink on COMM2. I'm
using a splitter on COMM2 so that I can use alternately a modem or
LapLink. And yes, I make sure that I have the modem shut down and
any other software requiring that port shut down when I try using
LapLink via OS/2.
RB>Ahhh, had this exact same problem. You need to set the BAUD rate of
RB>the COM port lower in Laplink (fastest I could get was 38600 if I
RB>remember right) and run it as a full screen session.
OK! I will try this when I get home from work. Currently I have
LL on both the base and remote set for 57600 or something like that. So
I should lower the rate in the settings on the base side only?
Thanks,
Greg
