Too often bankers will tip off their friends on ideas. I remember when video stores first came out. I know of one guy who had no brains at all but some money get tipped off and located a video store in a prime location. He got the tip from exactly the same sources we fear. See the banker just happened to notice that a lot of loan applications coming in for videio stores, and ready the business plan and started to talk abut it in his circles. Bang, someone moves faster. I don't know of any lawsuits due to these things, but business ethics are not what they used to be. When the odds are big, even ethics may not help, no loans, cash buy in keeps thing confidential more. --- VFIDO 6.20.00 Gamma Candidate 1 ---------------> * Origin: Kolico Communications, BANCROFT, Ontario (1:253/60.1) * Origin: Asia America BBS (1:102/774) |
