Usually:
         Pos.   P/u
    up   1      neck
         2      neck + middle
         3      middle
         4      middle + bridge
  down   5      bridge
BTW: Usually the bridge and the neck p/u have a polarity of the magnets 
that`s opposite to the one of the middle p/u. This way, you can achieve  
kinda humbucking, when you combine either the neck or the bridge p/u with the 
middle p/u.
