agreed...

the moon doesn't spin like the earth does... it does but at the same rate
that it circles the earth... thus the same face is always pointing at the
earth... this is why you always see the same "shapes" facing you
when you look at the moon...

because the moon keeps the same face to the earth and the earth does spin,
this also means that the moon does present all of itself to the sun over a
period of time...

there is no dark side of the moon... as a matter of fact, its all dark...

for that matter, when you look at the moon, you see reflected sunshine...
you can also see reflected "earthshine" which is also reflected
sunshine... in this manner, you can "see the 'dark' side"
