Two more updates from today:

she is at the emergency clinic again... she threw up what little food she
did eat and i'm super worried she didn't get the pills into her system on
time, so they hooked her up to iv, will give her the vit,K she needs, and
run a blood test again. etc etc. she will stay all day and maybe all night.
what a nightmare.

while i was there a couple had brought a big chocolate lab boy in that had
gotten hit by a car in front of them this morning.. he died on his way
over, they were soo upset and i went to give her a big hug, but it just
stirred up every emotion i'm feeling inside too and we were both just
bawling. i could totally feel her pain, and knowing how much she cared for
her big boy - he looked like an angel too.. he was spencer's age.

God, I don't know how much more of this i can take... and spencer too.. she
is just going thru hell!!!!!

And this evening....

hey called around 5pm to let me know she was doing better, kept her food
down and that i should bring her home for the night where she will be more
rested and comfy. I got there, paid, they were getting her.... and ........
she vomited big time all the food she ate and this time a ton of blood.

she is staying at the clinic all night. tomorrow she goes back to her reg.
vet. god, this is such a nightmare. Every time she starts getting better
something else attacks her. I know she has fight in her, but so did Stormy
- problem was her little body gave out on her.... I just hope Spencer is
strong enough to endure this hell she is going thru!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway, the vet that was with her today is Stormy's old vet and was working
on her thru the week so she knows the case and will be at my usual clinic
tomorrow morning to work on her again... she left at 5 so she has no clue
that all this happened. I guess I need to have them evaluate her condition
and let me know if we're fighting a losing battle, because i do not want
her suffering. I will do all i can as long as she is improving and stands a
chance, but if this is a losing battle i don't want to keep her alive just
for my sake. I love her too much for that. Problem is she looks so good on
the outside, seems alert and perky most of the time and is in such good
spirits and is so brave considering.

I just feel so completely helpless.
