Ah! Candace Brightman is indeed a visionary when it comes to lighting
design and implementation. I have seen more elaborate light shows, but
never a more tasteful implementation. She is a small person, but that
certainly doesn't have an effect upon her professionalism. It is true
that women are often seen as second choice for crew positions, but I
have always seen that as a mistake. Aside from being as capable as
men, women often try harder, with good results, just to offset the
gender predjudice. I have seldom had a chance to work with women on
shows, but the few times that I have, have been good experiences. It
is sad that the business is so biased towards males, but it is a fact.
Take care Bonnie.
