It's all right, Denise. I was just pulling your leg.

I understand.
But now it's time for ME to ask a question.
Since you are also a true crime buff, what is your opinion on the
identity of Jack the Ripper?
Specifically, what is your view as to the Maybrick Diary? Is it a
fraud? Or is it a remarkable historical work that solves the most
famous unsolved serial killings of all time by identifying "Jack" as
Liverpool cotton broker, James Maybrick?
Or does the truth lie in between? Or are you not sure?
I'd be interested to know.

establishing the impossibility of knowing any-

himself to a mosquito, able to wound, nearly
invulnerable to counter-assault - but only an
insect, not a man).
