Replying to a message of Benny Pedersen to Kevin Klement: BP> if my telecom was not that big asshole i have 2 nodes with isdn, with BP> identical courier-i here, my plan was to hook this up with my a4000, BP> but telecom wanted us to have "better" adsl :/ Qwest? BP> i now have plenty of modems to no avail, but fun might happend when i BP> get my a4000 tower up, does anyone know if isdn can work over ip ? ISDN is a technology, IP is a routing protocol. AFAIK DSL (Digital Subscriber Line) has superseded ISDN (Integrated Services Digital Network) in most places. ISDN is a great technology that never took off, at least around here. --- FleetStreet 1.19+* Origin: Bob's Boneyard, Emerson, Iowa (1:300/3) SEEN-BY: 10/1 3 11/201 203 331 18/200 34/999 103/105 120/228 123/500 128/2 187 SEEN-BY: 140/1 222/2 226/0 236/150 249/303 250/306 261/20 38 100 1381 1404 SEEN-BY: 261/1406 1410 1418 266/1413 280/1027 320/119 396/45 633/104 260 267 SEEN-BY: 640/954 690/682 734 712/0 313 848 800/432 801/161 189 2222/700 SEEN-BY: 2320/100 105 200 5030/1256 @PATH: 300/3 14/5 140/1 261/38 633/260 712/848 633/267 |
