Today's good news.

Good Morning Glenn,

(and yes, it is a good morning!)

I don't have everyone's email here at home, so please pass the good news on
to them and let everyone know how thankful I am for all the support, prayer
and understanding Spencer and I have received thru this horrible horrible
ordeal!

Anyway, the latest:Last night the vet allowed me to take Spencer home
because he had gotten her stabilized (and no one was going to be there
anyway, so taking her home was better than taking her to the emergency
clinic for the night again, as long as she remained stabilized.) I am soooo
darn proud of my Spencer Dog! She did really great last night!!!!! She is
just such a trooper and really hanging in there and fighting this! She got a
LOT of rest and was happy to be home. I stayed with her in the den all
night keeping a close eye on her. She rested fairly comfortably all night,
just getting up for a bathroom break a few times, to which there was NO
blood!!!!! She drank her water, wanted to gobble down milk bones and was
perkier than the day before!

Got her to the vet first thing this morning - he's going to hook her up to
IV again, give her all her vitamins, antibiotics, etc. And just keep a
close eye on her all day... followed up with a few repeat blood tests and
whatnot. We're still waiting on several results, which should come within
the next few days. Basically the doctor is convinced someone intentionally
fed her (and Stormy) rat poison. I was able to catch Spencer in time (we
hope) but, God Bless my little Stormy, she didn't have such luck. Anyway,
I really truly believe Spencer is going to pull thru this...

It's obvious she's not feeling well, but she's going to be back to her
normal wiggly self soon, I just know it!!! God, I am just soooooo relieved
- even though I know she's not out of the woods yet because the doc said
the poison could still be effecting her... but, all signs show that she's
going to improve, so that is what i'm going to believe
in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Her recovery is going to be quite long and extensive, but at this point,
I'm just thrilled to be able to speak of 'recovery!' Please let everyone
know that my big chocolate moose is really doing well!

I will keep you posted as the day goes by on her condition and any further news!!!!

Thank you for all your thoughts and concern, I have to believe that all the
support she has thru friends and prayer is a big factor in all this!!!!

T
