ADT started out life (and ADTPro followed) stealing the ROM NXTCHAR
routine, which controls what keys do... you can see all kinds of crazy
garbage if you start using escape codes. :-)  The formatter has its
own line-input routine that limits you to typing in valid ProDOS
volume names... perhaps that could be repurposed.
