Lafayette has a cable contract with Cox, who in the past 2 months started
offering triple-play in the area, as a response to the Lafayette Utilities
System fiber proposal.

Their fastest broadband offering is "up to" 5mbps. Their system,
a mixture of fiber and coax, doesn't have the upside capacity that a pure
fiber system would offer.
