From: "Glenn Meadows"

Nope, she noticed some slight blood on the corner of the mouth of Stormy on
Friday prior to leaving for Alabama, and didn't seem worried about it till
Saturday night. So, a good day and a half with no treatment. Possibly
could have saved that dog.

Spencer came down sick Thursday, after she got back home on Monday/Tuesday
time frame (don't know when she actually got home, I think Tuesday mid
morning).

Latest news from her:

just talked to vet again.

she is stablized ... and her blood is clotting a lot better than yesterday.
he says she is not leeding out anymore, or at least it is not much. in fact
he says she's beginning to very slowly reabsorb that blood. All which is
very good news. (without the vit. k he is giving her, she would not be able
to clot on her own though!)

He is sending her home tonight and we will repeat the process tomorrow! He
took xrays and unlike stormy her lungs are clear and all her organs appear
to be good! Sunday I will just have to take super caution with her all day
since the vet is closed. But he's giving me a prescription for vitK to keep
her blood clotting. the bad thing about it is that it's 20 pills - two
times a day and they don't taste good, so i'll have to find something to
hide them in that she will eat. If she pulls thru this weekend, that is a
very good sign she is going to make it... after that, she'll need to remain
on all that vitk for a full month because he said that rat poison is long
term and will take that long to really flush out of her so she can clot on
her own. I'm glad he's talking long term, but i hope it's just not for my
sake. i am staying very positive though because she is showing signs of
improvement, even if they are minimal... and she's maintaining a very
positive attitude herself!!!!! I am very proud of her and know she is going
to pull thru this - as critical as it is right now.
