G'morning Monica, MN> I'm not familiar with Maximus at all. As I mentioned, you can add or MN> drop a conference by using your offline mail reader. The message, MN> itself, can be blank because no one is going to see it. Mmmm .... this Maximus bbs shows them, so they do escape the Wildcat bbs into fidonet and serve to signal the author's departure from the echo. MN> Yes, I meant Wildcat. Good luck with your Maximus docs. Ta - but when I read then offline, nary a word about offline control of echoes downloaded into QWKs. Maximus always adds a `recent files' list to its QWKs, but provides no way to add a specified file to a QWK download either. Leastways, on this bbs's implementation. Dont get the idea that I am unhappy with Maximus, however; I've found all its versions most dependable on the bbses I've used over the years. :-)) ___ MultiMail/MS-DOS v0.45 --- Maximus/2 3.01* Origin: === Maxie BBS.
