If you mean the other Anne Perry series, it's Thomas and Charlotte Pitt.  I
haven't read any of them yet, so I can't say what they are like.  I think
he's a Scotland Yard inspector, or perhaps a member of the London police.
There's quite a few of them out--perhaps 15 or so.
