 I believe that people should have the freedom to choose to do this, but
 I don't believe that anyone should require it of a family.  I also feel 
 that any person who owns a weapon is responsible to see that *all* who
 might lay their hands on it are properly trained in safety (and probably
 use, as appropriate to age and maturity).
 By the way, I really am interested in your reply (which I haven't seen 
 yet) to my message to you a while back.  I *do* want to understand the
 rules and your application of them.  I thought my questions were 
 reasonable.  If you thought not, I'd appreciate your simply briefly 
 telling me so, and offering me an Internet address (if you have one), 
 so I can ask the questions privately.  I don't have netmail access,
 and I am interested in your thoughts on my questions.
