I have a TiVo 4 unit, previous model to current production that I picked up at 40% off. I have extablisged an Intenret connection for it using soem power line adapters. I still need to get a 4 channel record M-Card tuner from my cable provider and subscribe to the TiVo Programing system. they sell a "Lifetime" subscription at $450 but it is only the Lifetime of the TiVo Box not yours. I wil be going on a Prepay 1 year conteact until I see it the system works for me. My alternate plan is ot go ot a Mini Computer with a 4 channel cable ready card or external box.. --- þ SLMR 2.1a þ Typo Tom Strkes Again* Origin: TECHWARE BBS - Since 1995 - www.techware.dynip.com (1:102/401) SEEN-BY: 3/0 633/267 280 640/384 712/0 620 848 @PATH: 102/401 943 218/700 261/38 712/848 633/267 |
