Thats all we had back then.  The amber ones were the worst.

Reminds me of a script I wrote.  Now, I am not and never was a 'programmer'
but ¨i can batchfile the heck out of things.  Sperry Univac 1100/60
machine, took 4 ¨hours to 'boot' from cold.  I took it down to 45 minutes
with no tending via ¨batchfile trickery.  I did that when working at AFMPC
for the 'phase4 ¨transition' (converting from Burroughs mainframe to
Sperry) so my 'code' got ¨widespread across the USAF.  Now and again I've
run into someone who used and ¨improved it from the origional 'DPSN Pape'
work.  Long gone now.
