Okay. At first it sounded like walking through the aisles and picking some
milk, eggs, flour, insulin, an AK-47 an a can of SPAM.

If scripts means prescriptions, then where's the difference between
self-service and a hand-over to anyone?
In Germany basically anything with a pharmacological effect needs to be
prescribed, what you can get without a prescription are low-dose painkillers. I
guess that's the aftermath of "the worlds first non-toxic sedative" Contergan
(Thalidomide), which was prescription-free.
