Well I knew where to look on Barb's: (menu option)Tools-->Options, then
pick 'Advanced' topic tab & then jab the 'Update' tab.  (This is on
Barb's later version but it should be nearly the same as for yours.)  That
tab's contents give a lot of control over who does what to whom & for
how much, with regard to updates.
