I found that too. I always pull the nylon net off before
planting. I don't usually leave them in the jiffy 7's very long
before planting, so the net comes off pretty easy. If I don't
plant fast enough, then the roots can be injured by pulling the
net off. So then i just kinda loosen the netting. It has a seam,
so not too hard to do that. I guess you probably need to grow
yours in the jiffy7 for a longer period of time, so that mmight
not work very well for you.
