Joe,
I saw the videotape of Owlgore at Monticello and it was no joke.  The
man is dense.  The incident was on a par with the tree-lover getting
lost on a walk in the woods.  By comparison, he makes Dan Quayle and
Gerald Ford look like Einstein and Steinmetz.
