My Friend may get confused if I mention Java to him.
He's heard me talk about WINE being a Windows Emulator for Linux and knows
WINE is a computer program.

Really, I am not knowledgeable about Java.
I use NoScript to allow some websites just so the Page I am wanting to look
at displays correctly.

On some web pages before I "Temp. Allow" any sites with NoScript I sometimes
see a notice at the top of the page about not having Java enabled

Someone here in a Windows echo told me about using CTRL-U in Firefox to
to open a Tab to see the Pages SOURCE CODE.

After I open the SOURCE Page I usually hit the F3 Key to open a Find window
on the botton left of Firefox so I can type some of the websites NoScript
shows in the list of Recently blocked sites that I'm not sure need to be
Allow, Temp. or Otherwise.
When I see the Name of a website in the SOURCE Page I Temp. Allow it then.

It doesn't hurt to be very careful.

He isn't a BBS User.

Years ago when This BBS (CCO) could be Dial'd-Up I gave him the phone number
of the Prism BBS he could get on using Dial-Up.

He used it for a while and didn't continue calling it.
That may have been because Janis moved away from this area.

I'm still using XP but I'll still try to keep on learning things as I become
interested in learning about it.
By my logging on to a BBS ran on a Windows (DOS probably) pc when I had a
Commodore 64 I learned enough about Windows 3.1 to try to help a man at
Church from what I read in the Windows (and later WIN95) echos.

And then where I work got rid of the Texas Instruments Terminal and got the
Boss'es old used XT with DOS 2.11 - WITH ALL THE BOOKS FOR IT! when a 286
was put in His Office.

I was in Hog Heaven on the Night Shift using BASIC, after all, BASIC was on
my C=64 and a lot of things I could do at Home I could write in DOS-BASIC
now.

And Then I learned to write simple .BAT Files...

I added Your Initials to the TAGLINE that You used in a message over in
the DOVE echo.

When I saw it mention Geneology I thought of Nancy Backus who writes in
another echo I read and JUST HAD TO write her a message using That TAGLINE.

I didn't know if You created the TAGLINE or Stole it as I did today, but
anyway I added it to my TAGLINE File with Your Initials.
