Hi! Ed,

In a message to Mark Lewis you wrote:

I tried it in my Puppy vBox last night, though it has only an ancient
version of VLC. There wasn't a save option anywhere. In fact, VLC
couldn't display the on-line video at all, which doesn't surprise me as
I've seen a warning notice from YouTube about not *supporting*, what it
calls, ancient browsers; VLC read the weblink but displayed nothing besides
an alternating play/pause/play/[repeat sequence]/... indicator on the menu
line, where the play button is located.

So did we. It was a horse's patoosh. That was in the dial-up days, using
ancient software. I'm glad to see they're gone & past.

In FF, you can go to Tools->Page Info ([Ctrl]+I) and access a page's
media. (It's really neat for 'restricted' graphics files that can't be
saved from the page display.) It even has a save option. :)

The cache is major part of the users' Mozilla directory structure. It's
not worth bothering about. Windows' temp directory could be more
productive. :)

Cheers,
Paul.

... Nobody can be just like me. Even I have trouble.
