Greetings Mark!
I noticed the message about 11 Meters around 25 to 26 MHz. I operate on
the 11 Meters SSB, and since the comet has parted, there has been a
sudden increase of 'skip' on here. I have had non-stop DX ever since
the comet's departure, and have made contact with Iran, Czech Rep, and
the usual 'local' stuff into Italy, France etc. Brazil was on for a
short spell yesterday or the day before (can't remember!) so things are
slowly getting better. Today, I was running 10 Watts and got into
Czech Rep. Wooosh! I've just heard Ireland come in there at +20Db on
27.545MHz, this is not a joke! Anyway, going to dash as the 'skip' is
looking good for stateside so going to get on the radio. 73's for the
meantime.
John.
Write soon Mark!
