i hear ya :lol:  i don't know for sure but there is likely a way to get to
this setting on *nix machines, too... i've never looked but i do try to
ensure that the flash cookies are cleaned out when we clean up the browser
cookies... flash cookies are sneaky buggars...

no, not really... if it is a geo-lock thing, then using a(n open) proxy
somewhere should allow it to come in... other than that, there are some
helper apps that supposedly allow downloading them but i've not really used
any of them... i only have two add-ons in my browsers and you named both of
them... when i used to download video to save on my machine, i did it
manually by digging into the page's code and figuring out what it was doing
to point me to the video... i don't really do that any more, though...
