I'm all for research, knowledge gathering has a way of paying for itself. I
just have a problem with companies like Dupont screaming about an ozone
hole then selling the only freon replacement.. Same goes for these people
screaming that car exhaust is causing global warming, one coal burning
electric plant emits as much pollution as 10 million cars. Algae emits far
more.

Everyone's got an agenda. I'd like to see good numbers that describe the
overall picture so that we can make an intelligent decision, and I believe
it's important enough that the research should be presented in a public
forum and then the public should be the ones to make a decision instead of
leaving it up to our leaders who receive their campaign funding from the
big players.
