Read " Spreading Misandry; The Teaching Of Contempt For Men In Popular
Culture ", Paul Nathanson & Katherine Young, 2001, McGill/Queens Univ
Press. It details the mass misandry that is accepted in society today.

Heres an example, one that I replied to a Florida paper about. They
did a glowing puff piece about a company that, among their products,
sells t-shirts with slogans on them. Among those shirts were ones
with " Boys are smelly, throw rocks at them. ". These shirts were
available in major stores, over 9,000 in the US, and radio host
Glenn Sacks ran a campaign to get them out.

Now, imagine the hoohaw, if a firm had in even one store, shirts
that said " *girls* are smelly, throw rocks at them. ". Exactly.

And, this is not an exception, I can find more examples every day, even
without the Web.
