Ah, I wonder if your normal client actually sends the word
"anonymous". I have a French computer that sends
"anonyme" and, of course, that doesn't work.

I've just been to church, too. I went to a neighbouring church in
Henley-on-Thames to size up the opposition (I'm actually organist and
choirmaster in Wokingham) but their advertised choral evensong wasn't on!
