Hello John,
> Anyone have any good or bad information on the Hayes Accura 56kflex
> modem?
I have one I got thru the tradeup program on the Hayes website, it sits
on the BBS. Fairly good modem, fax, 56K flashable when the ITU-T
finalizes the '56k' standards. It's a V.34 with a Rockwell chip until
the flash upgrade comes out. Only thing I can complain about is the
'user manual' is on diskette, ready for loading on Windows 3.x or
better. There is a manual on the Hayes site in file/text form but I
haven't bothered to get it.
If I had it to do over again, I'd buy an external 3Com/USR Sportster and
have x2 now -- and a manual I could browse through.
Later...
Rick
