I just had a mass confusion situation with this @ that caused some real
problems. I read it as "at" in computer lingo, but as "each" in commercial
use.
So in commerical use it normally is used as
500 pcs $3.00 @
But here is the problem, some people write it like
500 pcs @ $3.00 
The former is $1,500 total
and the latter appears to be saying 500 pcs at $3.00 total. 
It made a big problem for me on an order. What is the proper way to express
it for commerical purposes?
