in unix printing is done by piping the ouput to the lpr program.
so if you want to print in a C program you do FILE
*prn=popen("lpr","w");
then write to prn, printing may not start until after prn is fclose()d.
anyway for printing manpages do
man whatever |lpr
gives reasonable results it gives bold and underline. You can get
really smart looking man printouts if you ask it for postscript instead
of text and have the printer/driver set up for postscript...
If you want to print only part of a man entry (propperly called man page)
you can use less's inbuilt pipe function go to the start of the area to
print press [m] then [a] got to the end and type |alpr then press enter
