Another funny thing was John Conyers.


Someone asked him if he'd read it before he voted for it, and he replied:


"I love these members, they get up and say, `read the bill'. What good is
reading the bill if it's a thousand pages and you don't have two days and two
lawyers to find out what it means after you e bill?


So.....he and his fellow democrats signed a bill they hadn't read because it
was a thousand pages long....and they'd have needed at leaast two lawyers
to explain what they'd just read!


BTW...John Conyers IS a lawyer; so is his wife! And many other democrat
members of the U.S. House are lawyers also!


Lawyers will be the first ones to advise against signing something you haven't
read first.


Interesting that a whole pack of lawyers signed onto something they hadn't
even read!
