Trains? They're even more scarce than short commutes for all but the
biggest cities here.
Now diesel, electric, gas/electric hybrids, hydrogen, they're coming. (very
slowly). When my Subaru died, one of the cars I looked as was a
gasoline/electric hybrid. (not in my price range it ended up, and a
waiting list to get it. :(
Another car I looked at was a TDI, none available until the week after I
bought my car. :(
