Honestly, it's an idea that's past its time.
The problem with setting up any BBS is that it mainly attracts
LOCAL traffic.
BBSes are out, the Web is in.  First of all, you'll reach a lot
more people.  Second, you'll reach people from around the world.
Now, the downside of going the Web route is you don't reach the
people like me who aren't on it.
