Oh, this is such fucking pro-woman crap!

In the first place, it presupposes that a MAN will not respond
viscerally to an enemy that has destroyed his home or killed his
children.

In the second place, it IGNORES the fact that a man has more physical
resources at his disposal than a woman has - even if weaponry makes
everyone potentially dangerous.

And in the THIRD place, it's just more of that madonna amazon tigress
bullshit.

There's some sort of myth going on around which reluctantly
acknowledges the obvious, that men are stronger than women, but which
ascribes to women all sorts of superhuman powers when they see home or
family attacked.

This myth ALSO seems to presuppose that men do not respond emotionally
and viscerally in response to a threat to home or family.

And the myth is bullshit.  Women expend MOST of their destructive fury
on children because children are smaller than women.

But the idea that women turn into Popeye The Sailor Man against an
adult male adversary whenever they perceive a threat from him - the
idea that adrenaline or hysterics or whatever, caused by righteous
fury, somehow makes them PHYSICALLY STRONGER than men are and enables
them to physically overcome men - it's bullshit, and there's no
statistical or anecdotal evidence to back it up.

It's just more of the "women are strong and good and men are bad and
weak" line that popular culture spews out.
