Hello Jasen -

CA>> When someone mentions "a mutually beneficial business
CA>> arrangement" I hear "freebie".

JB> how would that be mutually beneficial?

It wouldn't be mutually beneficial they would be
misrepresenting their agenda.

>>>> Find an American author.

BS>>> He used to work for an American company - HP. Does that

BS>>> for the best regardless of national origin.

CA>> There is no "sense of chauvinism" here

JB> look it up. (why did you mention american?)

#1 We _used_ to be able to say "buy American" without having to
apologize for it.

#2 Bob apparently is in the US. He stated that the publishers
won't sell the book to him because they are in Europe and he is
not. Following this so far? Therefore if he selected an
American author (the same country Bob resides in) that would no
longer be an issue? Is this good for you?

CA>> You said you can compress your writing to three pages by
CA>> making references to the book by page and chapter. How
CA>> useful is that to the reader if even _you_ can't buy the
CA>> book?

JB> That would be why he wants to buy the book...

No, actually you're wrong. Bob has said many times he already
has a copy of the book and "guards it jealously". Bob wants to
double dip and sell the flyer referencing the book _and_ the
books required to decrypt the flyers.

CA>> If it was an American (recent) author referring to the
CA>> book might make some sense although I personally find that
CA>> 'style' arrogant and too pushy about what books I should
CA>> own.

JB> What difference does the nationality ofthe aithor make?

You have a real problem with this don't you.
