To My Cyberspace Friends
by Sondra Ball
You cannot see the color of my socks,
the length of my hair,
the shape of my body.
You do not even know if I bathe,
brush my teeth,
wash my clothes.
For all you know, I might be a bearded lady,
a ten foot tall giant,
the world's fattest lady.
You have only my words to judge me by.
There are days when I like it like that.
