Some people (who don't know any better) will tell you that the Dynalinks
are garbage, but apart from some service tone detect problems with their
earlier models (and which I understand have since been fixed anyway),
they're actually rather good modems, and have proved to be very reliable.

Check the nodelist for boards flying both the V34 and H16 flags (which
makes them V.34+ Couriers).  There are a hell of a lot of them about these
days.

Given that you'll likely be able to flog your Maestro for $120 or so,
you'll only be around $155 out of pocket if you buy the Dynalink, which has
to be great value for a 33600bps modem.  Go for it.
