I'll explain: Its a common ploy to " dehumanise " men in many circles,
by means of using phrases such as " women and males ", or " male fill-
in-the-blank-profession ".

Men are not " males ", as " males " can be chimps, or bugs. Men
are " male humans ", if one wishes to use the word " male
" at all.

Notice that few to no media outlets refer to " female fill-in-the-
blank-profession " folks, they say " woman doctor ", and such. Why
is it OK to refer to men as " males ", but not women as "
females " ?

Answer: Its considered OK to view men as being somehhat non-human,
as the term " males " implies.
