| subject: | Bob`s question |
Hi Charles,

> this book"

Good heavens, Charles! What has that to do with the price of bread? I
am not in the least concerned with Bob's business practices. It's none of
my business. It is between him and his client.
All I said was that Amazon.co.uk lists it as a used book for œ5.00.
That is a simple statement of fact. I have not read it and obviously I
cannot offer any opinion as to its merits. I do trust Bob's judgement on
technical matters, though. The author is also well qualified academically.
> I believe it's been confirmed several times that the

That is also moot. Bob does have his own copy, so it is certainly
available to him in the USA, and if he obtains permission to reproduce it
under licence (or royalty arrangements) from the copyright holder as he is
now trying to do,
general availability becomes irrelevant.
You seem to have lost a little of your customary objectivity, old
friend. Step back and relax! Worse things happen at sea. :-)
Best Wishes,
Bill.
