Sure. Like I said, I wasn't commenting on the memo - just on the statement
that Will's work wasn't being used to drag people down.

Yup. The people in question weren't around to defend themselves, but I bet
they had family/descendents who weren't best pleased.

I have a vague memory of this one (had a mate at Aber who ended up as a
spook, and he was always going on about that sort of thing) - thanks for

I liked "Yes [Prime ] Minister", but "The New
Statesman" was more my speed: "Make the cheque out to the
Campaign Against Slum Housing - oh, just use the initials - yes, C-A-S-H.
