They have a faulty implementation of V.42bis data compression, causing
extended lockups (up to 20 seconds at a time) unless completely disabled
with &K0.  IMO this problem is severe enough to warrant avoiding this
model altogether, or at least until such time as an EPROM replacement has
been issued.
