Yes - but the "idea" (note the hesitant, questioning and
non-committal quotes) is to reduce the spending which will, in turn,
reduce the overall taxes a bit while reducing the deficit which will in
turn further reduce the taxes...... it's one of those "I'll believe it
when I see it" theories but you know, if the guys at Queens Park &
Ottawa actually got down to the business of running the province/country
like a business and stopped being (vote-grabbing) politicians the idea
actually "could" work!
