There in lies part of the right wing fantasist nonsense. It's nothing like
WW2. Not even vaguely. In fact by even comparing it to WW2 you are
massively insulting all those you fought & died in WW2 fighting fascism
& militarism.

It's not the same scale, it's not against a state etc.etc.etc.

But I know let's compare it to the Franco-Prussian War or Alexander's war
against the Persians, or maybe Caesar in Gaul. How about Ghenghis Khan's
conquest of the East?

Roman times you'd have wandered down to the circus to cheer on gladiators
