>As we slide towards the end of this year, there is an event I should
probably comment upon.
>Star Trek: Outwardly Moble had it's start as a role playing scenario Ten
years ago, 1992 probably in the summer.
And now that Jay mentions it, 2002 marked the twenty-fifth anniversary of t= he
first Steve-Trek story. I wrote the story, "Madwoman," in May
1977. Altho= ugh
the quality of the writing is not all that great and some of the terminolog= y and
some of the concepts have changed, "Madwoman" is still in the continuity.
>I started writing it in 1994, which is when ST-OM 01, The Holly Hop
Incident was first completed.
>It doesn't seem that long ago.
It doesn't seem that long to me either.
>I have just bite-sized all of ST-OM from Story 01 to Story 50. they make
305 servings of three to six pages each.
>I plan to serve up one good bite of ST-OM here each day (or so, I might
not be totally diligent on this) over the course of most of the next year.
I hope you all enjoy them thoroughly
>Please comment away as we go.
Since I have pretty well read all of Jay's stories already, I doubt I'll
re= read them
again here, although the odd one might catch my attention. I wanted to com= ment
on some of them, but since by the time I completed reading them, it was lat= e and
the modem had cut out, I decided to "wait until tomorrow," and
then never g= et
around to them. Breaking down all of Steve-Trek into bite-sized chunks mig= ht
take a little time, and in some cases, I might not be able to find a natura= l break
after a couple of pages.
Still, I'd look forward to the posting of ST-OM#51 and beyond.
