Hello all!
We talk about the 'home office' so if it is a 'new idea'!  Not so, this is an 
old, old thing that use to exist by the name of a Study.  Professionals and 
business people have always conducted their businesses or have done their 
major work at home in a Study Room.  If you watch old movies you will see and 
hear:    "Mr. Roland is his study...."
We are so use to having only Living Rooms and Recreation Rooms, that a study 
in a house seems like a strange, strange phenomenon! ;)
The worst part of to-days home offices is to convince anybody that one has an 
office in the house!  Many entrepreneurs them selves find it hard to take 
their 'home offices' seriously.  The worst culprits in unbelieving are the 
Tax Auditors!  Did you ever have to convince a Tax Auditor that your office 
expenses in a house are legitimate?  If your office/study has beautiful wood 
cabinets (not the common metal), you have an antique table and comfortable 
chairs, they will say you have a 'family room'.
I think it is  high time that young entrepreneurs exercise pride and joy 
about heir home offices.  Make their clients see that it is  much better, 
more convenient and more comfortable to do business in a relaxing Study then 
in a 'sterile', cold Office-office! :>  
It is gradually getting there, but lets hasten the acceptance!
