I found an issue when attempting to build MBSE on this Debian v5 system.
I've a Ubuntu dev system (ona vserver); found the same one issue on it, plus
another one.

The first probmem was an error that was coming up when the SETUP.sh script
was attempting to add the mbse user. Problem is that one of the groups the
script attempts to the group "admin", which is not actually present on the
10.04
install I have running. I fixed that problem by removing the
",admin" from
the
 script, at line 288..

The other problem I found (& the one I found on Debian v5) was when I did
the "su" to do the "make install"; it came with the
error message "You are
not
logged in as user 'mbse'". That was caused by the $LOGNAME variable being
changed to "root" when I did the su. Corrected that by doing the following
command: "exportLOGNAME=mbse".
