Hi Neil,

I have XP on the laptop and ME on this little desktop. This one does
the internet connect, and runs the XP home network (ME HN doesn't work
satisfactorily with XP). It's OK, but the hard disk is a bit small.

That's not too much of a problem as the laptop has 20 GB, and the
entire visual studio on it, so I can run it over the network. I lost the V
10.0 C compiler when I changed computers. One of the 3.5" floppies was
damaged. So all I have left is the MSVC V 6.0 and the old OS2 IBM compiler
plus a few legacy K&R. I could get GCC for Windows but it would be
quicker and probaly better to grab a copy of Linux which has its own
environment and compiler.

    Decisions, Decisions!

Best Wishes,
Bill.
