Not sure about that.  I managed to do a cross compile from within Windows
NT to 32-bit OS/2 without any problems but don't recall if the compiler
worked OK natively under OS/2.  I can't imagine why it wouldn't.  Perhaps
there are missing header/library files for Presentation Manager apps, or
something like that.  In any case OpenWatcom 1.0 was released on February
7, so whatever issue you had might be resolved now.
