Hello Michael!
After having snagged your excellent looking "Les Brownies" recipe from the
Bernachons, we thought we should try it out (What a strange thought). Reading
through it, we came upon a slightly odd quantity which we wanted to query
with you. We've decided, rightly or wrongly, but just to make sure the
recipe's right, we thought we'd ask you if you minded having a look in the
book and telling us.
It has to do with the quantity of butter. In the recipe, we have
> 6 t butter
Now, knowing american measures, we were surprised to see butter quantities
given in spoonfuls. However, what suprised us more is the actual quantity.
Given that a tablespoonful is three teaspoonsful, we would have expected a
quantity of 6 teaspoons to be given as 2 tablespoons. So, can you please
elucidate. Is it 6 _tea_ spoons or 6 _table_spoons?
Thanks very much
All the Best
Ian
